Accessibility statement
Pixasign should work for everyone who uses it: the business sending a document, and the person who receives it and signs. This statement covers pixasign.co.uk, the Pixasign app and the signing page. Last checked 17 October 2026.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. Pixasign does not yet fully meet it: the parts that fall short are listed below.
What you should be able to do
- Use every page with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline, and skip straight to the content.
- Zoom the text to 200% without anything being cut off or the page scrolling sideways.
- Turn off animation: the site follows your device's reduce-motion setting.
- Use a screen reader. Every form field has a label, and when something you typed is wrong the message appears under that field and is read out.
- Sign a document without drawing: you can type your name instead, and it becomes your signature.
What we know is not right yet
- The document on the signing page is shown as pictures of its pages. Each page is named, and its words are read out to a screen reader from the PDF, but the headings, tables and layout of the original are not. A scanned page has no words to read out. The document is the sender's, so if you need it in another format, ask the person who sent it.
- Some small text is smaller than we would like. On the website and the sign-up and sign-in pages, running text is at least 16 pixels, but captions, labels, table cells, small print and the company details at the foot of each page are 12 to 15 pixels, and the example documents drawn on the home page are smaller still. Much of the text inside the app, after you sign in, is 14 pixels. All of it can be zoomed to 200%.
- The sealed PDF and the evidence certificate have not yet been tested with a screen reader.
- The pages behind sign-in have had the automated check, but not yet a full keyboard and screen-reader walk-through.
How we checked
On 17 October 2026 we ran the axe-core automated accessibility checks on every kind of public page (the home page, pricing, the guides, the trade pages, the comparisons, sign-up, sign-in, the document checker, these legal pages and the error pages), on the signing page and on the main pages inside the app, on a desktop screen and on a phone screen, and fixed what they found. We also went through the public pages with a keyboard alone.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of Pixasign does not work for you, or you need information from it in another format, email hello@pixasign.co.uk. Tell us which page you were on and what happened. A person reads every message.
