Terms of service
This is the agreement between you and Pixacomms Ltd for the use of Pixasign. Plain English on purpose. Last updated 8 September 2026.
1. Who this is with
Pixasign is a brand of Pixacomms Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15861826, registered office Dunleavy House, Dunleavy Drive, Cardiff, CF11 0SN. “We” means Pixacomms Ltd. “You” means the business that holds the account.
This is a business-to-business service. It is not intended for consumers, and consumer cancellation rights do not apply.
2. What the service does
Pixasign lets you send documents for electronic signature. When a document is signed we apply a cryptographic seal (a PAdES signature with an RFC 3161 timestamp) and produce an evidence certificate recording the hash-chained history of the document: who opened it, when, from what IP address, and when they signed.
Under the Electronic Communications Act 2000 and the eIDAS regulation as retained in UK law, an electronic signature is admissible in evidence. What decides a dispute is the strength of the evidence behind it, which is what we build. We do not give legal advice and we do not warrant that a particular document is valid or enforceable - that depends on the document and the law that applies to it. Certain documents (wills, some property deeds, certain statutory instruments) have their own formality requirements. Check before you rely on it.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication; it is available on every plan at no extra cost.
4. What you may not do
- Send documents to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to send.
- Impersonate anyone, or ask someone to sign in a name that is not theirs.
- Attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and we will tell you why.
5. Your documents are yours
You keep all rights in everything you upload. We claim nothing in it. We process it only to run the service for you, on the terms of our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
6. Price and payment
Plans are £29, £59 or £99 per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and include unlimited users - we do not charge per seat. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable.
We may change prices with 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it.
7. Cancelling
Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. We do not refund part-months. Before you go, export anything you need: after 30 days we delete your account and its contents, and sealed documents you have already downloaded remain verifiable without us.
8. Availability
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not promise it. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on these plans, and we would rather say so than print a number we have not committed to. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we can.
9. If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
We are not liable for a document being unenforceable for reasons unconnected with the seal we applied, nor for what you choose to send or to whom.
10. Ending it
You can cancel any time. We can end this agreement on 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of being asked.
11. Changes to these terms
We will give 30 days’ notice by email before a material change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
