Set your account up
Your company name, your name, your work email and a password. No card is asked for here.
Confirm your email
We send a link to the address you gave. Click it, then sign in.
Set up two-factor
You need a free authenticator app on your phone: scan the code, type the six digits, and keep the recovery codes we give you. There is no way round this one, and that is the point. Your signed contracts are in here, and a password on its own should not open them.
Pay, on a page run by Stripe
The plan you chose is already on it. Stripe asks for your card and your billing address, with a box for your company’s tax or VAT number and another for a promotion code if you have one. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us. The monthly price is charged when you confirm, and the same amount every month after that on the same date. No set-up fee, no minimum term.
Send your first document
You come straight back to your documents with the plan switched on. Your allowance renews on the 1st of each month, UK time, whichever day of the month you paid, and documents you had already sent that month count towards it. Cancel any time from Account, Manage billing: your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for, then your account goes back to the Free plan and nothing is deleted.

There is no feature ladder. Starter gets the same seal, the same certificate and the same support as Business. Anyone can check a sealed document free at pixasign.co.uk/check.
Two bills for the same 12 people.
Per-user pricing adds up every time you hire. One year, one 12-person firm, on DocuSign Standard and on Pixasign Team.

Every competitor figure was read on the vendor’s own pricing page on 19 October 2026, and each row links the page. DocuSign’s UK page states no VAT treatment either way. Adobe shows Acrobat Standard for teams in pounds, excluding VAT, and no separate Acrobat Sign price. PandaDoc publishes US dollar prices only, excluding any applicable taxes. How the allowance works.
A document is one PDF sent for signature, however many of its up to 20 people sign it and however many pages it has. Free is 3 a month, Starter 50, Team 200, Business 500.
Allowances renew on the 1st of each month, UK time, and a document you withdraw, or one whose invitations all bounced, does not count. When you reach yours, you can send new documents again on the 1st, or straight away if you move up a plan. There is no overage charge and no surprise invoice, and a document already out for signature is never stopped.
Nobody is charged per user. On a paid plan, put the whole office and every engineer on it. The bill does not move.
Billing questions.
- Do I pay more as my team grows?
- No. Users are unlimited on every paid plan. One monthly fee covers everyone, with no per-seat charges. Each paid plan comes with a monthly document allowance (50, 200 or 500); if you need more than that, move up a plan. Your customers never pay a penny and do not need an account to sign.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. One user and 3 documents a month, free for as long as you like, with no card. Every document is sealed and comes with the same evidence certificate as on a paid plan. Add your team or send more by moving to a paid plan, from £19 a month inc VAT.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing goes read-only: you can still view, download and check every document, and send up to 3 documents a month. Documents you sent earlier in the same month count towards it. Anything already out for signature still completes.
- Are there any extra charges?
- No. £19, £59 and £99 a month, inc VAT, are what you pay. There is no annual lock-in and no set-up fee.
- What counts as a document?
- One PDF sent for signature, however many of its up to 20 people sign it and however many pages it has. A quote with 2 signers is 1 document.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from your Account page: Manage billing. Your account moves to the Free plan when your subscription ends. Nothing is deleted, and every signed document stays downloadable, with its certificate.
- Do my customers pay anything?
- Never. They do not need an account, an app or a card. They open a link, read, sign and get their sealed copy by email.
